IGN has released a new red band trailer for [Rec] 2, sequel to the original [Rec] from a few years back. It’s some very raw footage, and it looks quite creepy! Can’t wait for it to be released on DVD or even Blu-ray.
[Rec] 2 is both written and directed by Spanish filmmakers Jaume Balagueró (The Dark, Fragile) and Paco Plaza (Second Name, Werewolf Hunter), who worked together to direct the first [Rec] in 2007. In addition to Balagueró and Plaza, writer Manu Díez worked on this screenplay as well.
Yes! Even more Kick-Ass! Though I believe this should be the final trailer, it’ll be in theaters in two months.
Official Plot Synopsis: The film tells the story of average teenager Dave Lizewski (Aaron Johnson), a comic-book fanboy who decides to take his obsession as inspiration to become a real-life superhero. As any good superhero would, he chooses a new name — Kick-Ass — assembles a suit and mask to wear, and gets to work fighting crime. There’s only one problem standing in his way: Kick-Ass has absolutely no superpowers. His life is forever changed as he inspires a subculture of copy cats, is hunted by assorted violent and unpleasant characters, and meets up with a pair of crazed vigilantes, including an 11-year-old sword-wielding dynamo, Hit Girl (Chloë Moretz) and her father, Big Daddy (Nicolas Cage).

“With no power comes no responsibility.” MSN has released another red band international trailer for Matthew Vaughn‘s Kick-Ass, so, this is the fifth trailer now? Anyway, this is the best trailer of all. By now, I don’t think I need to say how much I love this film and looking forward to it. “Being a superhero is bad for your health!”
Dave Lizewski one day decides to be a superhero, even though he has no powers, training or any reason.
Kick-Ass is both written and directed by British filmmaker Matthew Vaughn, of Layer Cake and Stardust previously. The screenplay was co-written by Vaughn and his writing partner Jane Goldman, of Stardust as well. The story is an adaptation of Mark Millar‘s comic of the same name that is currently in the middle of its first series. Kick-Ass was funded entirely by Matthew Vaughn and his own private investors and sold once finished earlier this year. Lionsgate is bringing Kick-Ass to theaters everywhere on April 16th this spring.
