The upcoming webseries Dragon Age Redemption has brought together some very talented names, including Independence Day producer Peter Winther as director, Lost‘s John Bartley as executive producer and Hellboy‘s Doug Jones acting alongside Felicia Day. Day revealed at Comic-Con that the series should be out early this fall, for now, check out the teaser trailer below.

Fox has released a trailer, a bunch of photos and a long-form plot synopsis for the upcoming JJ Abrams-producedElizabeth Sarnoff-written (Lost, Deadwood) television series Alcatraz. The “chilling new thriller centers on America’s most infamous prison and one-time home to the nation’s most notorious murderers, rapists, kidnappers and thieves.” Watch a two and a half minute trailer, find out what the show is about and see some photos below.
It looks like the Lost series’ story is not yet completed. We are expected to see a bonus 12-14 minutes epilogue on the Lost Complete Series DVD set (no word on Blu-Ray set at the moment, I doubt they would not include it though).
We already knew that Hurley took over Jacob’s job, and Ben helped him out. Years later, in the “after life”, Hurley appreciated Ben for being the greatest #2. And it looks like the producers did film the storyline of them protecting the island.
LOST has finally come to an end, which I think it’s a very great end. What if the cast of Lost filled themselves into the world of gaming, what would each character be? Artist extraordinaire David Stonecipher shows us what could have happened in such a world. How the Cast of Lost Would Fit Into the World of Gaming.
Hurley becomes a perfect replacement for Mario, Sawyer trades hair styling tips with Link in Hyrule, and John Locke becomes the God of War himself. Check them all out below.

Neil Richards, a web designer by day (and everything else the rest of the time) has created a fantastic set of posters representing each research laboratory built by the DHARMA Initiative during their time on the Island. Have a look at his LOST Dharma Stations set after the jump.
For more information about the DHARMA Initiative stations visit The Lost Encyclopedia (warning: spoilers abound). And see more of Richards’ work on his portfolio.
This chart graphically conveys Lost‘s mind-blowing complexity on multi levels: plotlines, themes. It’s awesome. Wired has a whole package on the end of an era. [Wired]
The final Lost cast photo has been released, which supposedly contains a clue to the finale. The picture is titled “Final Flight”, and it’s missing one very key character.
From left, Frank Lapidus, Ilana, Richard Alpert, Ben, Sayid, Sun, Locke (or the Black Smoke?), Jack, Kate, Sawyer, Claire, Jin, Hurley, and Miles.
Desmond is missing from the photo, he had quite an important role in the past two episodes. So what does that mean? It could mean that Desmond might be dead (which I’ll be very pissed), or that he will not make it out of the island.
Another surprise is that Ilana, who blew herself up last week, is in the photo. My guess is that because she had been touched by Jacob, so she could not kill herself, just like Richard.
We’ll have to see. So far, this season is quite great, looking forward to the finale.
So, the final season of Lost premiered with a two hour part.
Another fantastic opening of the show, really quite looking forward to this season. The alternative timeline story is definitely a lot more interesting.
We’ve got some answers now, but we are having more questions:
- Jack is having some déjà vu when he meets Desmond. And Juliet wanted to tell Sawyer that “It worked” before she died. So the question is how the two timelines connect? And will the alternative timeline affect the true timeline? Or vice versa?
- How will the monster (who takes Locke‘s body) break into the temple? I don’t think the ashes will stop him. And what will he do after he’s in?
- Who is Richard? The monster says it’s good to see him without chains, is he a slave from that boat in last season’s premiere?
- Who exactly are these new Others people? It seems they are the inner circle of the Others on the island, only a few (like Richard) knows their existence.
- Is Jack’s father’s missing body back to the island?
- Will Locke get cured by Jack in the alternative world?
- What’s Sayid‘s role? Jacob says they’re all in great trouble if he dies, so is Sayid the key figure to stand against the monster?
Anyway, love the new season. The only thing that I’d complain is we have to wait another week for the next episode.
