Laeta Kalogridis，Dreamworks 及 Steven Spielberg计划中的 Ghost in the Shell 真人版(live action)电影的现任编剧，在前两天透露了“将在几周内交一份初稿”，“主角是女的”。
另Kodansha（株式会社講談社）在12月开始发布两套基于两部TV版的漫画。

在接受MTV访问时，曾和James Cameron共同制作Avatar的制片人Jon Landau透漏了他们下个项目－－『铳梦』（Battle Angel Alita）电影版的一些详情。电影将主要集中在凯丽（Alita）早期参与的死亡球（Motor ball）竞赛（即漫画单行本第三、四集）。
目前电影名称暂定为Alita，已渐现雏形。编剧Laeta Kalogridis说服了两位制片人将电影的重心放在漫画早期的事件上。从访问中看出Landau对漫画中死亡球竞赛的场景非常倾心。
If people are familiar with the series at all, there’s something they call Motorball. That is something that Jim has always been dynamically excited about. It’s racing on a super track, with characters that are built and created in the cyborg world to race against each other in an arena. It’s almost like a gladiator match meets an Indy 500 race. [Their mode of battle] depends on who they are. It depends how they’ve been modified as cyborgs; they’re not in cars – it’s their physical being that is out there. Some of them are on roller skates – and Alita participates in this, and she’s on roller blades, while other people might have different devices. It’s a wonderful, rich world to design and develop.

自从在约两年前传出Steven Spielberg将制作真人版攻壳机动队（Ghost in the Shell）后就基本上没什么大的消息 了，去年10月Shutter Island的撰稿者（兼Avatar制片人）Laeta Kalogridis确定撰写剧本。最近其在接受 MoviesOnline 和 Screen Rant 采访时终于透露了些剧本方面的消息：电影将按漫画内容改写。
“Ghost in the Shell was originally the manga. The anime came from the original graphic novel and then — and that anime, as you know, is a relatively famous, groundbreaking piece of material — also generated two seasons of an animated television show as well. And this is an adaptation of the original manga, the original comic book that sort of began everything.”
另外，将会有很多的动作场面。
When Screen Rant caught up with Kalogridis, they tried to get “a few answers on some key points I know you Ghost in the Shell fans have been wondering about.” That question was, essentially, the same as above, regarding whether they’d be adapting from the manga or anime – her answer was the same (the manga). But she also added that it has “a lot of action… lots of action.” That’s certainly expected, but always good to hear. She also said, “there’s still going to be a lot of atmosphere – [the movie] is about vast possibilities – all of this technology, the internet – it’s about the limitless possibilities of this technology.”
看来剧本应该是完成得7788了，很快就会交给Spielberg 和 DreamWorks 审批了吧，顺利的话今年内就会有进一步的消息。
