Paramount has unveiled the second US trailer for The Adventures of Tintin, co-directed by Steven Spielberg & Peter Jackson. This one contains almost all new footage, revealing the bigger story, about the missing ship and Captain Haddock’s connection with it. It looks like an animated Indiana Jones adventure!

The teaser trailer for Edgar Wright’s Scott Pilgrim vs. The World is really awesome? I’ve watched it quite a few times now. There are lots of cool visuals which are worth examining in still. Check out 66 screencaps below.

Plot Synopsis: Meet charming and jobless Scott Pilgrim (Michael Cera). A bass guitarist for garage band Sex Bob-omb, the 22-year-old has just met the girl of his dreams…literally. The only catch to winning Ramona Flowers (Mary Elizabeth Winstead)? Her seven evil exes are coming to kill him. Genre-smashing filmmaker Edgar Wright (Hot Fuzz, Shaun of the Dead) tells the amazing story of one romantic slacker’s quest to power up with love in Scott Pilgrim vs. the World.
Scott Pilgrim has never had a problem getting a girlfriend. It’s getting rid of them that proves difficult. From the girl who kicked his heart’s ass–and now is back in town–to the teenage distraction he’s trying to shake when Ramona rollerblades into his world, love hasn’t been easy. He soon discovers, however, his new crush has the most unusual baggage of all: a nefarious league of exes controls her love life and will do whatever it takes to eliminate him as a suitor.
As Scott gets closer to Ramona, he must face an increasingly vicious rogues’ gallery from her past–from infamous skateboarders to vegan rock stars and fearsomely identical twins. And if he hopes to win his true love, he must vanquish them all before it really is game over.
Universal has finally released the official teaser trailer for Edgar Wright‘s Scott Pilgrim vs. the World based on Bryan Lee O’Malley’s comic book series, and it’s really great. I have been quite excited for this movie since the production started, and it looks just awesome! Right from the beginning when the theme music played, I knew I love it. It’s just a teaser trailer, there’s much more work to be shown in the future, but it’s looking like this movie has the stuff. All of the seven evil ex-boyfriends are revealed, and there are some amazing glimpses of actions, plus a few dramas, it definitely delivers. Watch and enjoy!
Scott Pilgrim vs. the World is directed by brilliant British filmmaker Edgar Wright, of cult classics Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz previously. The screenplay was written by Edgar Wright and actor Michael Bacall and is based on the Oni Press comic book series of the same name. The story follows a Canadian boy named Scott Pilgrim (Michael Cera) who must defeat his new girlfriend’s (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) seven evil exes in order to win her heart. Universal is bringing Scott Pilgrim vs. the World to theaters everywhere on August 13th!
Edgar Wright’s Scott Pilgrim vs. the World , based on the series of graphic novels by Bryan Lee O’Malley, is another film that I’m quite looking forward to this year. But I’m a bit disappointed at how slow Universal is marketing it.
Now we’ve got a high-res poster and a desktop wallpaper. The poster is a very good replication of the title page of the first volume. Love it. And hopefully we’ll see more marketing soon.
