Christopher Nolan’s Inception is the best film of this year, without a doubt. To me, the story is pretty straight-forward and easy to understand, it’s just that some people were trying hard to dissect the film in their own ‘confusing’ ways.
New Jersey based 3D modeler ~dehahs has created an amazing infographic that explains the timeline of the film, complete with the different levels of dreams and kicks. Check it out below.
The dream is real. We’re only a few weeks away before Chris Nolan’s Inception, and the top-notch marketing of this film just can’t stop amazing us. These two awesome building-sized ads for Inception are found in New York City, the one above (via Twitter) bends back the entire wall of the building, and the one below has water flowing out windows. Both ads play with reality, making them look like dreams.
Warner Bros. released dozens of official promo pictures from Christopher Nolan‘s Inception, giving us a best look at this film.
Official synopsis:
Dom Cobb (Leonardo DiCaprio) is a skilled thief, the best in the dangerous art of extraction: stealing valuable secrets from deep within the subconscious during the dream state when the mind is at its most vulnerable. Cobb’s rare ability has made him a coveted player in this treacherous new world of corporate espionage, but it has also made him an international fugitive and cost him everything he has ever loved. Now Cobb is being offered a chance at redemption. One last job could give him his life back but only if he can accomplish the impossible—inception. This full-length theatrical trailer for Chris Nolan‘s Inception was debuted by Warner Bros in front of Iron Man 2. It looks really incredibly epic and amazing, only words like beautiful and stunning and mesmerizing may describe it. Inception has become my most anticipated movie of the year!

Warner Bros has finally announced that the third Batman movie from Christopher Nolan on July 20th, 2012. We know that The Dark Knight has about a year and a half of production and post-production between its shooting started in January of 2007 and release in July of 2008. It’s most likely that the third (and probably the last) one will start shooting early next year.
Anyway, we should be reading news about script, or maybe the draft, soon. And the long awaited villain(s) should be revealed as well. Cinematographer Wally Pfister was skeptical about shooting in 3D, hopefully he will stick to his mind, I really don’t want to see a 3D version of Batman, yet.

Warner Bros has released four new production photos from Christopher Nolan‘s Inception in a Los Angeles Times‘s interview with the filmmaker.
“I always find myself gravitating to the analogy of a maze,” he said. “Think of film noir and if you picture the story as a maze, you don’t want to be hanging above the maze watching the characters make the wrong choices because it’s frustrating. You actually want to be in the maze with them, making the turns at their side, that keeps it more exciting…I quite like to be in that maze.”
If you are like me, you’re quite probably ready to watch the movie now, as it sounds it’ll be very incredible. These four new photos look pretty cool, three are from the movie and one is a set photo.

Well, it’s been circulated for quite some time since The Dark Knight‘s success, and now the New York Times has confirmed the third Batman film.
When interviewed about working with Robinov, Nolan confirmed the next Batman movie is in the work.
“He is trying not to cling to the things that have worked in the past,” said Christopher Nolan, who directed “The Dark Knight” and is working on another Batman sequel….
Although there is no official press release yet, but this quite close to that. Nolan is putting pen to paper now.
I believe the official news should be released around the opening of Inception. The movie might start production late this year, and a 2012 summer release is expected.
