This week on Survivor: Heroes Vs. Villains, the villains was punished for voting Boston Rob out, losing both reward and immunity challenges. No one could take over Rob’s leadership in this tribe, Russell is a strategist, but he does not know how to lead people.

Back from the tribal council, Coach knew that he had made a terrible mistake, and he was screwed. Jerri was falling in line with Russell, and if he did not follow suit, he would be gone next.

At the heroes’ camp, the sneaky JT tried to look for the idol on his own. He was the one who suggested that the tribe should look for it together and use it at the merge against the villains. He found it without much trouble, but just when he tried to put it into his pocket, Amanda walked up to him, and then Candice. JT acted like he just committed an act of heroism, but Candice and Amanda were wary of him.

Tree mail arrived, and the villains fell into the tricks of the writer that they were going to merge. So they teared everything down and brought them all to the challenge. There was a feast waiting for them, and Probst, who delivered one of my favorite line of the season:” Drop your… expectation.” All the villains were very sad.

When the heroes saw that Rob was voted out, they thought that there must have been an all female alliance in the villains. “Hang in there,” said JT to Russell. (Nobody here had seen the Survivor: Samoa season, so they had no idea how Russell played, and that was a huge advantage for him.)

For the reward challenge, the players competed in a duckin bowling competetion. They faced off one at a time against each other and whoever knocked down the most pins in each round was given a point. When the villains were deciding who to sit out in this, no one had the say. Then Coach said he wanted to eat pizza and drink soda, and he agreed with Sandra and Courtney to sit out. So, he did not want to win the immunity challenge?

The heroes won with ease, and the villains were left to starve on their own. Back at camp, they started to fight about whose fault it was that they were losing. The others were pointing fingers at Sandra and Courtney, because they were weak phsical players. Sandra freaked out and fought with them, trying to create more chaos in their camp.

Things were getting worse for the villains, as they had to compete in a physical immunity challenge. Two players, tethered together, had to race through a mudpit, under and over fences, to retrieve a flag and bring it back to the starting point to score a point. (Actually, the villains did have a chance of winning, if they tethered Courtney and sandra together and gave that point to the heroes, and worked their a$$ off for the other two.) Without Rob, they just didn’t know how to compete in challenges.

Russell and Sandra raced together, and lost, Sandra just couldn’t get her a$$ under the fence. Coach then raced alone against Rupert, and won. Courtney and Parvati raced together, and lost miserably. Courtney even injured herself. The heroes won again.

Now it would be obvious to vote out Courtney, the weakest player, in common sense. But the villains didn’t have any of that. Sandra told Russell that Coach was gunning for him, and he kind of bought it. Parvati liked the idea that they could fool the heroes that it was a female alliance. But Danielle disagreed, and had a big fight with Russell. Right before they went to the tribal council, Russell told them that he changed his mind and would vote for Courtney, which surprised Parvati, saying it was absurd.

At tribal council, Courtney said that Coach demoralized the tribe, and she tried very hard to defend herself.

The votes were in, Courtney got three votes, while Coach got four, and was voted out. When the votes were shown in the end, Russell did vote for Courtney, but Danielle voted for Coach. (Why she changed her mind?)

The preview of next week showed that JT plotting to give Russell their hidden immunity idol to save him. If that’s true, then it would be the dumbest move that this game has ever seen. (I’m a bit concerned that Russell might be in danger of being voted out, though. We’ll see.)
