The show started off with a hip-hop and cha-cha infused dance, co-choreographed by Dmitry Chaplin and Tabitha and Napoleon. Love it.
Apparently, Asuka’s tears could not get enough votes for them, she and Vitolio were the first couple in the bottom three.
Janette and Brandon were safe, for sure. And “the butt made the cut,” Randi and Evan were through to the next round.
I was wrong with Jeanine and Phillip again. I think American love Phillip very much? Let’s see what they could bring next week.
Melissa and Ade, looking forward to seeing how they handle their next style.
Nigel’s bet on Karla and Jonathan turned out to be right, and my bet, lol.
Ashley and Kupono’s Viennese waltz got Mary yelled for them, and so did American. Caitlin and Jason were in the bottom three, which I got it right again.
Asuka’s solo was not that impressive, Vitolio’s jumps were very strong. Kayla’s dance was fun to watch, and showed her great techniques. Jonathan’s was much more energetic than Asuka. Caitlin’s just soso. Jason kind of lost his desire to win.
The judges thought Asuka did not improve in this competition and sent her home. And they went on to prove their dislikes to ballroom dancers, Jonathan was cut.
So Karla and Vitolio will be new couple next week. Hopefully they could find some chemistries.
See you next week.
