BioWare 与动画发行商Funimation 宣布他们正在制作一部基于Dragon Age 系列的动画剧场版，5月份已开始制作，预计2011年发售。
这是Funimation 新的Original Entertainment 部门的第一部作品，制片人包括BioWare 的Mark Darrah、Mike Laidlaw，FUNimation的Gen Fukunaga、Chris Moujaes。
很可惜，不是由日本的动画公司制作，最期望的还是Studio 4°C，或是MadHouse接手。
Dragon Age: Origins is a single-player role-playing video game developed by BioWare’s Edmonton studio and published by Electronic Arts. The game was released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in November 2009, and for Mac OS X on December 21, 2009.
Set in the mythical kingdom of Ferelden during a period of civil strife, the player assumes the role of a warrior, mage or rogue who must unite the kingdom to fight an impending invasion by demonic forces. Bioware describes Dragon Age: Origins as a “dark heroic fantasy set in a unique world”, and a spiritual successor to their Baldur’s Gate series of games, which were based on theDungeons & Dragons franchise.
