Deep Silver and Techland had announced that Dead Island will be released on September 6, 2011 in North America. And here is a new trailer for the game.
As one partygoer finds out, being a drunken fool on an island resort during a concert is a great way to ensure a rough morning. Rather than the usual hangover and list of regrets, though, he wakes up to an island-wide zombie infestation.

Techland’s long-stagnant zombie action-RPG Dead Island is back, with Deep Silver taking on the duties as publisher. Take on hordes of zombies using found melee weapons, and try to make it out of the luxurious Royal Palms Resort with all your limbs intact.
