Based on Thierry Jonquet’s Mygale, this revenge tale tells the story of a plastic surgeon, played by Antonio Banderas (reuniting after 20 years with Pedro Almodóvar after working on Tie Me Up! Time Me Down! in 1990), seeking revenge on the men who raped his daughter. This is Oscar winning Spanish filmmaker Pedro Almodóvar’s latest film following Broken Embraces from 2009. Sony Pictures Classics is currently planning on bringing The Skin That I Live In to limited theaters in the US on November 18th in the fall.
