Apple has announced that Steve Jobs has died. The above image is the homepage of Apple.com. The company has released the following statement:
Apple has lost a visionary and creative genius, and the world has lost an amazing human being. Those of us who have been fortunate enough to know and work with Steve have lost a dear friend and inspiring mentor. Steve leaves the company that only he could have built, and his spirit will forever be the foundation of Apple.

世界规模最大的人形/手办展——日本Wonder Festival 2011(夏)（ワンダーフェスティバル 2011[夏]）于7月24日在日本千叶县千叶市的幕张展览馆举办，今天就先来看看现场展出的一批美少女人形，大部分都是拥有非常傲人的大胸器。
7月9日、10日2日间，在日本箱根的旧箱根町立仙石原中学校举办了名为「電力補完計画 節電推進Ver. in 第3新東京市第壱中学校」的活动。这项由『福音战士』和箱根町以及丰田联合发起的「電力補完計画」活动，原本预定在3月举办，因地震而推迟，并改为「節電Ver.」。
活动的其中一环，是利用旧箱根町立仙石原中学的教室，重现了『福音战士新剧场版』中绫波丽等人就读的第3新東京市立第壱中学校的2年A组教室。
而另一环，则是将丰田的 Prius PHV 型号车粉饰为 NERV 的公用车，在会场展示。
『福音战士』绝对是新世纪最会骗钱的系列作品，没有之一！日前其又推出了新商品，限量版的高级气泡葡萄酒（sparkling wine）。以初号机以及两位女角：绫波丽和明日香为主题，经过精心设计包装，每种瓶子限量333瓶，每瓶售价49999日元！
以初号机为主题的气泡葡萄酒正式名称为「エヴァンゲリオン スパークリング EVA01 BRUT(ブリュット)辛口」，绫波丽主题的酒正式名称为「エヴァンゲリオン スパークリングEVA00 SEC(セック)中口」，明日香主题的酒正式名称为「エヴァンゲリオン スパークリングEVA02 DEMI SEC(ドゥミ・セック)甘口」。

A group of LEGO builders had recreated the whole Middle Earth from the The Lord of the Rings in LEGO! The build was on display at BrickWorld 2011 in Wheeling Illinois, where it won “Best Group Layout”. The impressive creation includes Hobbiton, the town of Bree and the Inn of the Prancing Pony, Rivendell, the mines of Moria, Isengard and the tower of Orthanc, the Golden Hall of Edoras, the beacon towers, Helm’s Deep, the Pellinor Fields, Osgiliath, Minas Morghul, the Black Gate of Mordor, Mount Doom, and the tower of Barad-Dur.
