Sony has finally released a full-length trailer for The Smurfs, the live-action/animated hybrid which brings updated CGI versions of the Smurfs to New York City, where they run riot through the lives of Neil Patrick Harrisand Jayma Mays as they try to escape the clutches of the wizard Gargamel (Hank Azaria). Sounds like a horror film? Yes, that’s what this trailer tell.

When the evil wizard Gargamel chases the tiny blue Smurfs out of their village, they tumble from their magical world and into ours — in fact, smack dab in the middle of Central Park.
